Necessary?[]
It doesn't seem like this page could cover anything more than the simple dictionary definition that Jewish is the adjective for a Jew, or something associated with Judaism. — DeFender1031

- Is the wiki "necessary"? I don't think that's the right criteria. Is it useful or helpful? I think so. The word is used in many ways that are not just the adjective. As the page currently says, one common misuse of the term is "talking Jewish", usually referring to Yiddish. This wiki isn't only for people who are already knowledgeable about all the topics here. A dictionary or other source would be likely to explain what the term means, but not much about common use or misuse. It wouldn't give a JPOV on a term, such as how it's commonly used, whether it's offensive, which groups or people would be more likely to use it. -- CocoaZen 15:38, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
